4.35.2.1 Facility Hazard Categories
4.35.2.1.1 Nuclear Facility Hazard Categories
No buildings at TA-59 are categorized as nuclear facilities.
4.35.2.1.2 Non-Nuclear Facility Hazard Categories
No buildings at TA-59 are categorized as non-nuclear facilities.
4.35.2.2 Nonhazardous Facilities
The Occupational Health Laboratory (Building 1, Figure 4-35, Sheet 1) and administrative and
other office operations occupy most of the buildings at TA-59. Building 1 houses a combination
of offices and laboratories. The laboratories include low-level radiochemistry and chemical analysis
in support of the Laboratory’s environment, safety, and health programs. The Laboratory’s
emergency operations center is also housed in the basement of Building 1.
