Los Alamos National Laboratory
The Los Alamos National Laboratory (LANL) is located on approximately
28,000 acres, adjacent to the town of Los Alamos, New Mexico, which is
approximately 25 miles northwest of Santa Fe. It was established as a
nuclear weapons design laboratory in 1943, under the leadership of J.
